CONTEST RULES
If your entry is chosen to compete but does not win, you may submit another photo and entry form.
We receive hundreds of contest entries every month. Not all entries will be chosen to compete. To increase the chances of your contest entry being chosen you can:
- Submit a photo with only one dog
- Submit a photo that does not contain any people or body parts
- Submit a photo with a nice background
- Submit a sharp, high quality (resolution) photo over 250mb and saved in .jpg or .jpeg form
- Submit pictures that are in landscape position such as a regular 10x8 or 6x4 size.
- Submit cute, funny, crazy, silly, sweet, precious pictures. We are looking for your best work! Themed pictures are also great.
- Make sure you include a few sentences about your dog with your entry.
- Complete all information on the form.
We run an honest competition and everyone is given an equal chance. There is a one vote per day (per computer) limit on our contests. We track IP's and only one vote per day will be counted. Only allowing one vote per IP means if you are on a computer network in your home or office, everyone may not be able to vote from their computers. Ask your co-workers to vote from their home computers instead. Unfortunately our system cannot distinguish between multiple computers with the same IP or someone attempting to cheat by multiple voting. Everyone is eligible to enter our contests. Minors will need their parents permission to accept a prize and disclose address information.
Please only enter one Japanese Chin per entry form and picture. You may enter as many dogs as you like but they must be separate entries.
Please do not include any people or other pets in the contest picture entry.
Prizes are free, no charges or shipping/handling fees within the United States. If winners outside the U.S. would like to receive their prizes they must pay for all shipping costs payable only by PAYPAL.

Monthly winners may be asked to donate their contest photograph or another photograph for our "Japanese Chin of the Month Calendar". Any proceeds from our calendars are donated to charity.
Yearly winners will be asked to donate a cover photograph for our "Japanese Chin of the Month Calendar". They will also receive the opportunity to choose their favorite charity to receive the calendar proceeds. Charity must be located with the United States.
It is not required by any contestant or winner to donate their photograph for use in the calendar. It is strictly voluntary.
