Welcome to Amaya's Everything Japanese Chin. Although unknown by most, the Chin is slowly becoming a very popular small dog breed. Once you own one you are hooked for life. They are loving and docile lap dogs that are happiest curled up next to you. Japanese Chins are one of the quietest of the small dog breeds, some never express more than a deep sigh. They are affectionate, highly-intelligent and loyal companions. Chins have few serious hereditary defects and are one of the healthiest of the toy breeds. Most Chin puppies are not fond of rough-housing but can be a treasured pet to a caring and attentive child. If you are thinking of aquiring a small breed dog, the Japanese Chin is the number one pick.

Japanese Chins range in size and color. Our puppies average in weight from 4 to 10 pounds as adults. Most litters are sable/white and black/white with occasional lemon/white & red/white colors. (See the Chin Pictures Page for more on colors). Chin's are typically very healthy, low-maintenance and relatively inexpensive to care for.
We are not a kennel, backyard breeder or puppy mill, we are two very ethical experienced holistic breeders: one in San Diego, CA and one in Palmer, TX. All of our Japanese Chin puppies are whelped, raised and socialized in our homes with us with 24 hour supervision.

Japanese Chin Breed StandardAmaya's Amaya's Japanese Chins are bred for AKC standards as well as our own health and happiness standards, raised with tender loving care, 24 hours supervision and socialization and given only the best. Our Japanese Chins come from a variety of bloodlines including many with championship heritage and make beautiful pets or show dogs. We take a holistic approach to breeding, practicing natural raw diets and herbal health care alternatives to ensure our puppies live the longest healthiest lives possible. We believe in minimal vaccinations and when available only natural/herbal wormers and preventative medicines.
Our puppies are intended for 'adoption' by only the most dedicated owners that have done their research on the breed and intend to give their pets only the best in life. Japanese Chins require lots of affection and attention and need owners who can give and receive it in return.
Choosing one of Amaya's Japanese Chin puppies means having the opportunity to watch your puppy grow up from the beginning. We post weekly photo update's of our puppies during the entire time they are with us unless buyers request otherwise. We provide a home video of the first 8 weeks of your puppy's life so that you have the opportunity to witness all of your puppy's precious 'firsts'. We believe it is important that new families have the opportunity to be there from the beginning and this has been very appreciated. We will provide you with all of the information and knowledge you should have before raising a Japanese Chin. We will also always be here to provide assistance for the entire life of your Chin.
